Yves Scherer, nato nel 1987 a Soletta (CH), è un artista visivo con base a New York City. Lavorando con media che spaziano dalla scultura figurativa alla pittura a olio e alle stampe lenticolari, crea ambienti immersivi che combinano narrazioni personali con fan fiction e cultura delle celebrità, offrendo allo spettatore una lente o prospettiva spesso romantica sul sé, le relazioni e la quotidianità. Il suo lavoro è stato esposto ampiamente in gallerie e istituzioni di tutto il mondo e fa parte della collezione del Portland Art Museum, del Farnsworth Museum, del Kunstmuseum Olten e del Kunsthaus Grenchen tra gli altri.
